Leura is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Blue Mountains, home to several easy-to-reach lookouts offering panoramic views across the Jamison Valley.
Many of these lookouts are located close to the village or with street parking nearby, making them easy to visit without having to do a long bushwalk.

1. Gladstone Lookout

Gladstone Lookout is a quiet and secluded vantage point on the Inspiration Point headland between Leura and Wentworth Falls.
The lookout can be reached via the Lillians Bridge Track, a 2.5 km return walk that starts near the Fairmont Resort in Leura.
Moya Point is a second lookout on the same headland and is well worth taking a short detour to visit. Both lookouts offer scenic views across the Jamison Valley.

2. Sublime Point Lookout

Sublime Point Lookout is a quiet vantage point with wide, panoramic views across the Jamison Valley, taking in several well-known Blue Mountains landmarks.
The lookout is reached via a short walking track from the car park at the end of Sublime Point Road, with basic picnic facilities also available.
A spacious viewing platform sits on a rocky outcrop and is accessed via a set of stairs and a small footbridge.

3. Golf Links Lookout

Golf Links Lookout is a little-known vantage point in a quiet part of Leura, with scenic views across the Jamison Valley that include the Three Sisters, Mount Solitary, and Narrow Neck Plateau.
The lookout can be reached via the Pool of Siloam Track, which starts at Gordon Falls Reserve. This walk is quite steep, though, and involves a large number of steps.
For a shorter option, you can also start from The Links Road near Sublime Point Lookout, from where it is an easy 500-metre walk to the small viewing platform.

4. Gordon Falls Lookout

Gordon Falls Lookout is a spacious, fenced viewing platform with scenic views across the Jamison Valley and towards the Sublime Point headland.
The lookout is named after Gordon Falls, where Gordon Creek drops into the valley below. The waterfall itself is not always visible, as its flow depends on recent rainfall.
Access is via a walking trail just south of the car park at the Gordon Falls Picnic Area. The trail is short, but does include some steps.

5. Elysian Rock

Elysian Rock is a popular lookout that consists of two fenced viewing platforms linked by the historic Buttenshaw Bridge.
Both platforms have seating and offer wide views across the Jamison Valley, with the Three Sisters to the right, Mount Solitary straight ahead, and Sublime Point to the left.
Access is via a signposted trail from Olympian Parade, or by following the walking track from Gordon Falls Lookout. This second option is part of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, which continues to Katoomba.

6. Olympian Rock

Olympian Rock is a lookout located a short walk from Elysian Rock and forms part of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk between Gordon Falls Reserve and Katoomba Falls.
Like nearby Elysian Rock, this lookout offers scenic views across the Jamison Valley, with the Three Sisters and Mount Solitary visible in the distance.
If you are not walking the track from Gordon Falls via Elysian Rock, Olympian Rock can also be reached via a signposted access trail from Olympian Parade.

7. Tarpeian Rock

Tarpeian Rock is a more secluded lookout featuring two viewing platforms, both offering scenic views across the Jamison Valley and towards Mount Solitary.
The first platform also looks up toward the second, framed by the valley in the background, creating a unique photo opportunity.
Access is via a short detour from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, or via a shorter signposted access trail from Cliff Drive.

8. Bridal Veil View

Bridal Veil View is often overlooked by visitors, despite offering some of the more impressive waterfall views in the Leura area.
Recently upgraded, this small viewing platform looks directly onto Bridal Veil Falls, also known as Leura Falls, as it cascades into the valley.
The lookout is only a short walk from Tarpeian Rock and is accessed via a signposted detour off the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, making it easy to include both in the same walk.
