The Gladstone Lookout, located in the Leura area of the Blue Mountains, is a beautifully secluded vantage point facing the Jamison Valley.
This hidden gem is accessed via a section of the Lillians Bridge Track, which forms part of the Grand Cliff Top Walk connecting Katoomba and Wentworth Falls.
A second lookout, Moya Point, is also accessible via the same trail and provides similar views from a different angle.

Track Notes
This walking trail is relatively short, covering 2.5 km for the return journey, and is generally quite easy. However, some climbing is required towards the end to reach the two lookouts.
Lillians Bridge Track
The starting point of the walking trail is on Fairmont Place, just before the Fairmont Resort complex, and is signposted as the Grand Cliff Top Walk.
However, if you’ve parked near the ice skating rink, you’ll access the walk from a different point. From that car park, follow the walking path that circles around the pond and passes the tennis courts.

The trail begins next to the pony stables. Look for the large Blue Mountains National Park signpost and follow the path into the bush from there.
Approximately 500 metres past the signpost, you’ll reach an intersection where you’ll need to turn right to take a detour to the two lookouts.

This detour is signposted as Gladstone and Moya Point Lookouts (600 metres).
Continuing straight at the intersection leads to the Valley of the Waters and the Conservation Hut in Wentworth Falls as part of the Grand Cliff Top Walk.
Gladstone Lookout
The trail to the lookouts is more challenging than the initial part of the walking track, as it becomes fairly steep and includes quite a few steps, though it remains manageable.

Around 500 metres along this trail, you’ll reach a junction with some older signs. Turn right and head up the steps to visit Gladstone Lookout, or continue straight to reach Moya Point.
Gladstone Lookout is just a short 100-metre walk from the junction along a narrow bush path.

The lookout itself is a flat, rocky area that provides stunning views of the Jamison Valley between Sublime Point and Lincoln’s Rock.
It’s a quiet and lesser-known spot, as most visitors to the area tend to stick to the main walking track of the Grand Cliff Top Walk.

The lookout also makes for a great picnic spot, with its scenic views and peaceful atmosphere.
Moya Point
To reach the next lookout, Moya Point, retrace your steps back to the junction and turn right.
As you approach this vantage point, you’ll catch a distant view of Wentworth Falls waterfall on your left, which is quite an impressive sight from that distance.

While Moya Point may not be as striking as Gladstone Lookout, its views are still scenic enough to make the extra effort worthwhile.
When you’re ready to head back, retrace your steps to the main walking track. If you have extra time, consider taking the walk to the Valley of the Waters. This beautiful hike features several waterfalls to explore, including the impressive Empress Falls.
