1. Comfort Resort Leura Gardens
Set on Fitzroy Street and surrounded by heritage gardens, Comfort Resort Leura Gardens is a solid and reasonably affordable option for a pleasant few days in the Blue Mountains.
Rooms range from simple studios to self-contained apartments and two-bedroom cottages, so it works just as well for a couple as it does for a family. On site you’ll find a solar-heated outdoor pool, a small gym, a BBQ area, and even a spot of garden chess. Plus, Fairways Restaurant & Bar is an excellent choice for dinner, so there’s no need to leave the grounds at night if you don’t want to.
It’s not overly flashy, but it’s comfortable, friendly, well located, and relatively easy on the budget for what you get.

2. Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains
The Fairmont is the largest hotel in Leura, home to 224 rooms, 23 event spaces, and plenty of on-site facilities and activities so you don’t need to leave the grounds when you don’t want to. It’s an MGallery property (part of Accor) set on the edge of the Jamison Valley, with plenty of rooms offering lovely valley views.
It’s a family-friendly resort, with indoor and outdoor pools, an ice skating rink, a KidsZone and school holiday activity programs, alongside the adjacent Leura Golf Course for the grown-ups. There are three restaurants on-site plus Two Doctors Whiskey Tavern, and the award-winning Ubika Day Spa if you want to relax rather than doing one of the many bushwalks in the area.
Fairmont Resort is also a popular events venue, so don’t be surprised if there is a conference or private wedding happening during your stay.

3. Bethany Manor Bed & Breakfast
Bethany Manor is a heritage bed and breakfast set on private, park-like grounds about 800 metres from Leura village, with a long verandah, leadlight windows, and plenty of old-world charm.
Each of the four rooms, Sorensen, Tomah, Walling and Banks, comes with a spa bath and its own personality, and most open straight onto the verandah. Hosts greet you with afternoon tea and cake on arrival, and breakfast is served each morning between 7:30 and 9:30 am. There’s also free WiFi, on-site parking, bushwalking guidebooks for planning your next move, and complimentary port and chocolates to end the day on.
It’s a good pick if you want a proper B&B experience rather than a standard hotel room, and you’re still only a short drive from Echo Point and the rest of the major attractions in the Blue Mountains.

4. Leisure Inn Spires
Conveniently located just north of Leura Mall, Leisure Inn Spires is all about self-contained apartment living, with kitchens, laundry facilities, and private balconies looking out over gardens.
It suits couples and families alike, and works especially well if you’re after a longer stay rather than just a night or two. Everything in the village, cafes, shops, restaurants, is a short walk away, and the bigger attractions like Scenic World, Echo Point and the Three Sisters aren’t far by car or bus.
It’s a practical, no-fuss base if you’d rather cook your own meals and come and go as you please.

5. Leura House
Leura House is the oldest home in Leura, built in 1880, and it wears its history well, with heritage interiors, manicured gardens, and a lounge room fireplace to sink into after a day in the mountains.
Rooms range from standard doubles to family twins and triples, and there’s also a three-bedroom cottage on the property for a bit more space. It’s only a five-minute walk to Leura Mall and the train station, and the rest of the region’s big drawcards, Wentworth Falls, Katoomba, and Scenic World, are all a short drive away.
Leura House is a gorgeous place, and a great pick if you’re after character over corporate polish.
